When it was time for Maple, their sweet pup, to join us, the joy was contagious. She waited patiently in the car until it was time to sign the license. A wonderful surprise from grandmother—a bottle of Dom Perignon—made the day even more special. They enjoyed a charcuterie board and a picnic on the dock, lit by tea light candles. The atmosphere was simply magical.
My focus was on capturing emotions, watching the light, and suggesting poses when they felt ready to move. At one point, I called out, “RUN!” as golden light reflected brilliantly off the lake. Those moments are the ones I cherish.
